OPEN DAY AND TOOL SALE - MAY 3rd 2008 PDF Print E-mail

 

Image This May bank holiday weekend, we held an open day to celebrate 21 years of trading at our Superstore in Hawley Lane, Farnborough.  Customers old and new came along to help us mark the event. Luckily a last minute improvement to the weather meant that we had a nice day with mainly clear skies and even some sun. What better way to introduce our customers to our business and also raise some money for our supported charity BeN.

 

The celebrations started at 9:30am with the thunderous sounds of two audio demonstration cars from FLI and KIcker.  The rolling road brought along by NT.R was once again one of the main attractions of the day; it was kept busy all day long with a variety of cars from a 1985 Ford Capri to a fantastic F150 lighting pick up with over 500bhp, we even had a nice Ford Mustang.

Along with the rolling road, in conjunction with Monroe, we were offering FREE testing of shock absorbers, with a surprising number (33%) actually failing the test.

On display outside were CAF vans new & old, some very nice looking modified cars, and two Kia Pride's modified for use on the Blueprint London to Lisbon rally, where the cars must cost under £500.

Inside the store we had many offers on tools, wheels, roof boxes & accessories, we even had a Fomula One race simulater going all day with prizes for the fastest times.

To finish off the event we also held a charity car wash, with all donations going to BeN, the motor vehicle benevolent fund.
