P1040681.JPGFollowing its support for over eight years, car parts distributor and retailer Camberley Auto Factors was delighted to be this year’s Paul Finn Vintage Car Rally official sponsors;  an event which helped to raise over £15,000 for  BEN, the automotive industry charity.

Held on a recent glorious summer’s day the Vintage and Classic Car Rally named after its founder Paul Finn, is a showcase for over 200 beautifully preserved vintage cars.  The Rally which is the highlight of the day began in Ascot, travelled through Windsor Great Park before finally arriving at its destination - the annual BEN Fete, held in the 19 acres of beautiful grounds of Lynwood, BEN’s nursing and residential centre in Sunninghill, Berkshire.

Following its grand opening by Coronation Street’s Auntie Pam, over 2,000 car lovers and local residents were able to take their time to view the wonderful vintage cars from marques such as Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lagonda, Alfa Romeo and Triumph dating from 1904 to 1970.

Camberley Auto Factors won 2nd prize in the Historic Commercial Vehicles class with its own branded 1965 Morris Minor, even with the combined efforts of Robert Gibbs (Camberley Auto Factors Head of Marketing) and his son Scott getting the entire Historic Commercial Vehicles class lost three junctions from the start of the rally!
