Camberley Auto Factors ensures all staff and customers are up-to-date with current automotive technical expertise, knowledge and training. To make this possible Camberley Auto Factors strives to provide an extensive training facility and numerous workshops covering all areas of the automotive garage industry.

CAF’s Workshop Solutions training programme is available to those customers who wish to keep up-to-date with the latest developments affecting the vehicles they deal with on a daily basis.  A bespoke series of technical evenings covering topics such as Diesel Injection, Emissions Control and Driveline Systems, takes place across the south of England in venues located close to CAF’s branches. These events, which have been running for over five years, have received very positive feedback from those who have attended.

The presentations are brief, but informative, and are hosted by a mixture of CAF’s technical staff and staff from original equipment parts suppliers. When a more hands-on approach is required, CAF takes advantage of its relationship with local colleges to provide practical demonstrations in the colleges vehicle workshops.

CAF on Tour
In 2011, we started our popular Camberley Auto Factors 'On Tour' events.  This travelling roadshow takes the Workshop Solutions concept out across the CAF branch area, along with all our key suppliers.  Customers are invited along for a series of mini seminars, covering popular topics including Hybrid Vehicles, Apprenticeships and Stratified Injection Systems.  After each brief seminar, there is an opportunity for questions and answers with the relevant presenter.

Each CAF on Tour evening also includes a trade show area, where customers can talk to suppliers about the latest product technology, gaining access to useful and relevant information for their day to day business.

Profit Clinics
Following on from some introductory sessions held at Workshop Solutions evenings in 2010, we found great interest was being expressed by customers in how they could make their businesses more profitable.  We consulted with a leading industry expert to create our Profit Clinics.  These involve very small groups of customers, all focused on learning some useful and practical skills in a structured but relaxed environment.
